On 12 November 2014 the Justice Ministry launched “The Legislative Portal“, an online application meant to improve access to national legislation, in a consolidated and updated format.
What the application actually offers is free access to over 150,000 legal acts (since 1989 to present day).
The database used by the application is managed by the Justice Ministry and access is open to all, be it citizen or public or private institution. The application is also connected to the joint European portal of national legislations – N-Lex.
I am happy to see the launch of such a project. I think it is a good step towards a more transparent and modern public administration. The Search functionality works well, one can find any court or governmental decision based on some key words.
